Rebuke the Climate Change Deniers!

Opinion — The world faces an “Ecological Emergency”,  described for years (Yes, even before Mr Trump became President of the U.S.A.) by scientists, but now the din of deniers, or skeptics by any other name, who, for whatever reason(s) choose to nit-pick and argue with the science is causing a fierce debate especially in the USA.

The evidence is abundant, but still there are those who seek to delay working on some effective countermeasures. Their ignorance or unethical behavior, is delaying action on the serious problem that our children and grandchildren will inherit.

The "Climate Change Denial Machine" reminds me of the major efforts of the world's tobacco companies to "prove" that smoking was safe a few decades ago. They were specious and tricky, yet got found out and rebuked by those who believe in promoting healthy living.

Inconceivably, the President Trump of the United States appointed an openly argumentative climate change denier as head of its Environmental Protection Agency (thankfully he' s gone now) and then went a major step further by backing the United States out of the Paris Climate Accords with arguments that avoid the elephant in the room.

The average scientist or technical person can access and learn the truth and understand the false arguments that the skeptics use. But the aware scientist knows the truth; the septics who cherry pick which science to believe mostly don't.
